Join Michelson 20MM for a funder’s panel and group discussion on April 4th as they explore philanthropic organizations’ strategies to fund digital equity efforts. The overarching goal is to pursue lasting systems change that leverages both the opportunities and challenges ahead.

As funders and advocates, the Michelson 20MM Foundation and their funder partners have become acutely aware of the breadth and depth of digital equity needs. Brought to light for some by the pandemic, digital inequities have far-reaching impacts on the success of the efforts we support in education, housing, healthcare, criminal justice, workforce development, civic engagement, and more.

Housed at Michelson 20MM, the Digital Equity Pooled Fund is a collaboration between multiple funders who are focused on advancing digital equity in California.

Aiming to place equity at the forefront of how broadband infrastructure dollars are spent in California, the fund ensures digital equity advocates, local leaders, and communities most affected by the digital divide can make their voices heard in critical regulatory processes at the state and federal levels.
