On July 25, 2024, the Michelson 20MM Foundation’s smart justice “In Action” series will highlight Central Valley organizations that are implementing strategies from California’s Best Practices: Pathways From Prison to College resource.

In contrast to Northern and Southern California, the Central Valley has seen the construction of many prisons and community corrections facilities over the past thirty years, forming a distinct ecosystem.
