Michelson Philanthropies is celebrating Spay and Neuter Awareness Month with the announcement of a new initiative from Michelson Found Animals.
Over the last 15 years, Michelson Found Animals has contributed more than $10 million in funding to spay and neuter programs, including CAMP (Community Animal Medicine Project), FixNation, and Spay4LA, a mobile spay and neuter clinic founded in 2010 in partnership with Robert and Erika Brunson, who died in 2023 and 2022 respectively.
Now, MFA is taking the next steps in transforming the future of animal welfare in Los Angeles by rolling out a new Spay & Neuter Initiative powered by the Robert & Erika Brunson Fund. The initiative builds upon the legacy of the Brunsons by channeling resources into innovative ideas that could revolutionize the animal welfare model.
In this tribute video, we meet Erika, her loved ones, our team, and the phenomenal organizations committed to animal welfare in Los Angeles. Join us in preserving the Brunson’s legacy and celebrating #spayandneuterawarenessmonth.
